In this study, the parameters of a strong earthquake record were estimated using the wavelet theory (WT) and then the nonlinear spectrum response of the acceleration (NSRA) of the structure to a degree of freedom was calculated. The acceleration of earthquake mapping was estimated using the WT with equal sampling method (WTESM). As a result of this, firstly, the acceleration, which was recorded in an earthquake using a WTESM was studied in up to 5 stages and then the filtered wave was used to calculate the strong ground parameters (SGP) and the NSRA of the structure instead of using the main earthquake record (MER). The filtered wave from the earthquake in the wavelet stages is a more lenient form and its use is more convenient to calculate the SGP and NSR, due to the removal of its noise. The proposed method for a large number of earthquakes has been used and its results for the Kermanshah earthquake are detailed. The results of this example show that if the WTESM is used, the estimation error of the SGP will be less than 2% and the error of calculation of the NSRA will be less than 11%.
